Shipping, Return and Privacy Policies

SHIPPING POLICY

COVID-19 update: We are shipping(!), however – delivery time of packages may variably be slightly longer than normal due to working constraints brought on by the pandemic. We’ll do everything on our end to get your package out the door as fast as possible.

All orders require 1 to 2 days to process before shipment. All orders are sent USPS Priority Mail, but Flame cannot guarantee shipping transit times and can’t be held response for delays caused by the postal service.

At the moment we offer shipping to the U.S. only. We do not ship outside the U.S. under any circumstances, even through a shipping forwarder. For any orders placed in violation of this policy, the original shipping fee paid by the customer shall be non-refundable in the event that the shipment is cancelled and returned to Flame. We reserve the right to block any violators from future purchase attempts.

If a shipment is returned to Flame due to customer error – such as inputting the wrong mailing address or not retrieving a held package in time – Flame reserves the right to charge the customer for re-shipping or, if the customer prefers a refund, retain the original shipping fee.

RETURN POLICY

Have second thoughts on your purchase? Don’t worry – it happens. Unused products in perfect condition and original packaging may be returned within 10 days.

To request a return: email info@shopflame.com requesting the return and after the product is received back and inspected, you will be issued a refund on the original method of payment. If the item was purchased for you as a gift, you will be issued a store credit to use across the site.

Issues with your products? If for any reason a product is defective or damaged, please email info@shopflame.com within 14 days and we will promptly resolve the issue.

Shipping on returns: If an item is not damaged/defective, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs and they are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item back valued over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

PRIVACY POLICY

Personal information shared on our Site remains just that – personal. Here at Flame, we take your privacy seriously and want you to know first and foremost: Flame will never rent or sell your information to anyone.

By visiting or using the shopflame.com website, and any other features, content, or any other services we offer from time to time by in connection therewith (collectively, the “Site”), you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent that we will collect, use, and share your information in the following ways.

1. Privacy policy coverage: This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) that we gather when you are accessing or using our Site. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage.

2. Personal information we collect: The information we gather from customers enables us to personalize and improve our services. We collect the following types of information from our customers:

     A. Personal Information You Provide to Us: We receive and store any information you provide to us whether by registering to receive e-mail newsletters or placing a product order. The types of Personal Information collected may include your name, email address, zip code, address, age, and/or phone number. We use a third-party service provider to process payment transactions. We do not collect, store or otherwise have access to credit card information. Our payment processor is presently Maverick Payments. You should review its Privacy Policy to ensure that you are comfortable with its use and disclosure of your information.

     B. Information Collected Automatically: Whenever you interact with our Site, we may automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, “cookie” information, and the page you requested. “Cookies” are identifiers we transfer to your computer through your browser that allow us to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our site are visited and by how many people. You may be able to change the preferences on your browser to prevent or limit your computer’s acceptance of cookies, but this may prevent you from taking advantage of certain Site features. When we collect usage information (such as the numbers and frequency of visitors to our site), we only use this data in aggregate form, and not in a manner that would identify you personally.      C. E-mail Communications: You may sign up to receive periodic emails from us. We may also receive a confirmation when you open an email from us. If you would like to stop receiving email or other mail from us, there will be an option to manage your preferences at the bottom of all of our emails.

3. Who we share information with: To reiterate: Flame will never rent or sell your Personal Information to anyone. It is solely used to correctly and fully process your order, as well as to provide you with periodic email updates about the Site and our products which you are free to opt out of at any time.

4. Security: All credit card information is processed by Shopify. We believe that they appropriately protect your information, but you should review their practices at http://www.shopify.com. We endeavor to protect the privacy of your Personal Information we hold in our records, but we cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time. The Site may contain links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When linking to another site you should that site’s privacy policy. 

5. Changes to this privacy policy: Flame may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. You are bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when you use the Site after such changes have been first posted.
